I have my Yamaha Banshee up for sale in the classifieds. This guy e-mails me to see if I still have it. Then emails me back ready to give me the money but wants to give $9500 and then I pay him back $6000 (I'm asking $3500). By the way, he's buying it for a "client" of his. What the #*^*!!! Has anyone heard of this?

These guys pay with a money order in hope that you send them money right away, the money order is no good, and then you are out the 6,000 you sent to them, and your bank account sits there in the hole!

Yep and they are usually from Nigeria.

There have been a few stolen accounts on ebay lately with Wolverines listed for sale with no reserve and only for a one day auction. In every case they insist that you personally email them first at the listed email and not bid as they want to sell off ebay and rip ya off with no recourse of action.

 

yea i had a guy that wanted to buy my 22" rims i had on ebay for a client and he wanted to give me way more than I wanted for them. TOTAL RIP OFF, if it seems to good to be true usually is

 

yea.. HUGE Scam - I had a guy email me about my Truck For Sale , never asked a thing about it just told me he had a check for $7000 and I was only asking $3400 for truck... SCAM SCAM SCAM

Problem is.. there must be some Donkey that goes for it! Otherwise they wouldn't be trying...

 

just send him an email and tell him to go F$#k himself.thats what i do . ive had a few of those. lol!
