Default Grizzly 700FI

Hey everybody,

I'm looking for a grizzly 700FI but it seems that the seat is quite short... How does it ride with 2 people on it??

It's for me and my girlfriend, and were both light, but tall... I see that some atv's have a seat mounted on the rear rack, but is this safe to sit on when you drive or is this just for when you stand still?

So is it a comfortable ride when you want to drive with two persons and they sit both on the seat??

Thanks

first off... let's just get the fact that it's not a 2 person quad out of the way. There are quads out there that are... and this is not one of them...

That being said... There are several "add-on" options that you can do, to give yourself and your g/f a comfortable ride... Here's what I have on my 700...

Mad Dog cavas bag

(I bought the black for $69, so don't go off that price or color... )

I think they're much better than the hard cover ones... The hard ones tend to hurt the passenger in the bumpy terrain. The hard ones also tend to get in the way when trying to bail off of the quad during a possible roll over. (that being said, the hard one did protect my 8yo niece in a roll over because it kept the quad from rolling over her as much. She was the passenger.)

That bag you have looks good!

Yeah, i know that there are some atv's for 2 people but i really like the grizz, i will mostly ride solo but i sometimes want to take her with me...

How about the floorboards, are they big enough for two feet or is it to small? I now have a kawa kfx 700 and when i take her with me i put my feet on the nerfbars so i wonder if there is enough space on the grizz..

yeah, there's plenty of room... Unless you're both sporting a size 12+ boot.... You can kinda see my black bag in my pics...

No we don't have big feet...

Is it also possible to ride it without the bag on the bag or is that to uncomfy? Just seems like a small seat to me... But i think it is the best atv at the moment and i really like the eps so just dont want another atv

I was concerned about the seat size for the same reason when I bought mine. After I got my girlfriend and friends on it, it does fit 2 people fairly easy. Because the seat is fairly shorter, the passanger really can't get on or off until the driver gets off. the driver does have to sit on the forward part of the seat though. I am planning on getting a passanger seat that attaches to the rack though, as the current storage box on the back of mine will hit the passenger's back going over bumps unless they hold on tight to the box. With a norma rack to hold onto though, you should have no problem. there is also enough room for two sets of feet on the floor board, but it is more difficult for the passenger to reach because their legs hang over the fender. this is due to the seat being farther back on the quad.

Just remember not to take the normal inclines you'ld take if it was only you and you'll be fine with a passenger on the grizzly. (you can wheeley a lot easer with a passenger).
