Default Warrior on fire.

Last saturday I was out riding, Doing alot of jumping and wheelies, I stopped and a friend noticed flames from under the seat. We put the fire out, it came from the air box. When I stood the bike in a wheelie position I noticed fuel coming out of the carb into the air box. Not from the over flow tubes. So why is this happening?? It still runs fine, We noticed A small backfire through the carb but its not a consistant thing, in fact I only saw it once. what would cause these problems??? Thanks

I'll check for cracks, I replaced the upper and lower over flow hoses right after the fire, and I think it's still stock jetting.....Does the carb normally flow back in an upright stance?? The carb is yet to be replaced, rebuilt, since I've owned it. Only other Mods are an FMF pipe setup and now I'm going to get a new air intake.

Thanks for the help.

You should rejet if you have a pipe.

Ok here's my plan of attack, there are no air leaks, cracks at all, So I'm going to just rebuild the carb and look for any broken seals, or any thing hanging up. So I'll keep every one posted, however, what jetting should I move to? . In all honesty I don't race this quad, Jumping and wheelie tricks are all I do.
Thanks for all your help guys.

your jetting is just not throwing in a bigger jet cause you put a pipe on it. you got to read the plug and maybe even do plug chop test. and that (jetting) will really have nothing to do with fuel getting on your air filter check the float level.
