Dunno If iam making a mistake or not.....
My friend has a 2005 Blaster with more mods then I can think of. He claims it can beat the 450's ! Anyways its mint shape with a 240 kit just put into it so Ied have to break it in. Anyways he said he would trade for my Skidoo Formula Z 700 which iam selling for a wheeler. But iam 5'11 and 230lbs , so its going to be really small for me . But do you think I could get $2700 for it if I sold it to get a bigger wheeler ? Thanks

If I could then I would sell it but it wont sell , no one wants one ! What I was wondering was should I trade and then just sell the blaster for what I want for the sled then buy a full sized atv , I found a 2000 DS 650 for $2500 that needs some TLC , 97 Banshee moded out the butt for $2500 and a 86 Honda 250r for $2000 that needs a stator. So their are plenty of wheelers for what I would want for the blaster but will the blaster be worth $2700 if I go to sell it ?

I don't care how nice it is, it's gonna be amazing if you find anyone to pay over $2,000 for a blaster. In my area quads sell for higher than most other places from what i've seen (stock warriors sell for $3,000) in not-so-great condition). And I still never once saw a blaster sell for over $1,600. A modded blaster is a hard sell, because it's too small for most of the adult riders that can actually handle the power of a modded one, and nobody wants to put their kids on a deathtrap like that.
And i believe your friend may be bs'ing you. A 240 blaster will beat a 450? I mean COME ON! But i guess that's to be expected, almost everybody that owns a blaster is so full of themselves and confident that their blaster can beat anything. Blaster owners are known for this behavior.
that 250r sounds like a better machine for you, but is it all stock or is it modded? It doesn't sound like an even trade for a stock one if your sled is really worth $2,700. If you watch the classifieds ads you're sure to come across a better deal on a 250r than that. I've seen several completely pristine condition, fully race-built 250r's sell in the $3,000 range, and that's with every aftermarket part available including the frame, easily over $15,000 into one of those machines just in parts. So even if you decided later on that you didn't like it, you could part it out on ebay and get back twice what you paid for it.
