Default A-arm issues.

I recently bought a 2007 Raptor 700R. The other day I was speeding down a smooth, dirt road. Next thing I knew I was flying OTB. It turns out that the upper A-arm on the right side had snapped at the weld. I inspected it and was amazed to find that these things are not only aluminum, but they're hollow! Has something like this happened to anybody else? Do these things break often, or did I just get a faulty one?

Here are some pictures...

Seems like it's a major safety hazard.

Thanks in advance.

Default A-arm issues.

I had the top right a-arm fold over right next to the ball joint. I was jumping when it happened though. It was just a small jump maybe 3-4 feet in the air... It pissed me right off. Then I found this smokin deal on ebay and went for it.

Go to his store and see if he has anything for a raptor 700.

It is without a doubt it is a safety issue. The welds on stock quads are HORRIBLE! So bad that im going to teach myself to weld and do some preventative mantainance.

Glad your alright, coulda been much worse.
