how about some advice on the best sand tire for a raptor. i'am thinking either the edge or the taller hauler. also which skid plate offers the best protection for the water pump and hose i see both gyt-r and prm do. but which is better?

sand skate II's. durable and well designed.

haulers are nice, but they are thin, and I've had paddles rip off and tires punctured. if you are very careful about where you ride then they are fine.

I agree on the haulers. I've had them rip off, as well, but they're good while they last. the Skate II's are great paddles, but expensive. If price is an issue, sand sharks are pretty good instead of the skate II's.

 

I have PRM skidplates all around on my banshee. I like them alot. I would go with them, everyone signature I read on here has GYTR or whatever the name is, be different get prm.

 

FYI on Tires

The Shand Sharks are pretty much identical to
the Sand Skate II's. As Dune97 posted, the San Sharks are "much" cheaper than the Sand Skate II's (Like $45.00 Vs $80.00 per tire). One of the ATV mags ran an article 2-3 months back on these two tires and said they thought they were equal in performance.
