My two cents... All in all, these three bikes are in the same ballpark. With similar mods your going to be able to ride all the same hills/trails with similar ease. Nobody will fall behind because they don't have enough power to keep up.
Which bike will be faster? Nobody can predict that. It'll all be up to the individual bikes, tuning, and the riders. Good news is that if you find your 660 doesn't quite have enough power - there are tons of mods you can drop in to get a little more power.

Your 660 will do just fine. The 650DS is big, (heavy) wide and bulky. Unless it's always out where there is lots of open spaces to let them rip. The 700 Raptor has better supsension and will give you a more stable secure ride. Once your 660 is warmed up, using a choke, it should run just as well as an EFI if the carbs are adjusted and working to specs. I loved my 660, just got tired of getting stuck all the time and getting ridiculously filthy. I can give you one suggestion, two actually. If you're looking to get new tires, ITP trac star tires are awesome, great ride, affordable too. Two, if you have the stock suspension on the rear, slow down the rebound. One more, make sure you have a good rear skid plate.

Better suspension? I hope your talking about the 700r compared to 660r and not the ds lol. DS has INSANE stock suspension specially the baja x model. Even with the normal model ds its still 12 inches of suspension...then the baja x model has upgraded shocks which were FARRRR better than the works i had.

I was out at Glamis this weekend on my 700R, my brother-in-law was out there with his 660, and a friend of a friend had a DS650.
My brother-in-law's 660 is highly modded and the DS650 was stock - my 700 has it's way with both of them, not even close. You have to dump a bunch of money into a 660 to get it close to a 700, they are that much better. As for the DS650, its got power, but at over 420 lbs, its a heavyweight.
