I am planning to buy a wiseco .040 overbore piston to put in my blaster and would like to know if it will add any horsepower and if yes will I feel much diference?

It'll add some compression but min. hp's. You'll notice the wisco more if you have a stocker in there before. Wisco's are better in the fact that they'er lighter(rev's quicker), and there forged(durable). What I did with my blaster that woke it up was to remove the air box cover, fmf fatty combo, reeds rejet. After that I had to change the front sprocket to space it out a little. Then it have some power. Let me know what happens.

check out www.mobiledyno.com and their some dyno charts that show you how much hp you'll gain. they sell vito pistons made by weisco and they say you'll get 6/8 more hp.

A regular Wiseco piston is actually heavier than an OEM cast piston. You will have to go with a modified Wiseco like the ultra light or the Vito's to get a lighter weight piston.

I allready have a an fmf exhaust,boyessen reeds and uni filter.I am planning on racing MX this summer so I think Im just going to concentrate on bolt ons like handlebars, nerfs,tires and bumpers.
