Default Yamaha Blaster 2005 Won't start need help!

I have a yamaha blaster 05. Recently i put a big bore kit on it that was purchased off ebay. Turns out it had crack in sleeve. So i went back to normal bore. 3 weeks ago it was running but not wanted to idle. So i adjusted idle screw and it snapped. So i fixed and put new carb on. This is a 30 mm carb with the K&n style air filter that goes right off the side of the carb. When i try to start it it sounds like air is escaping somewhere. Before i tear apart to tighten the head nuts, Figured i would ask around. Would it be a head gasket leak or exhaust? And for anyone looking for parts, i have stock swing arm, stock exhaust, and stock carb (missing some pieces but could be taken off stock)

Done a compression test?
Getting a spark?
Generally bigger carbs dont like stock bore motors.

Alright i have an update. Just was out there and im getting spark. Still isn't wanting to start. I went and tightened all the head bolts to assure i wasnt leaking through the head. Is the only way to check compression is to take to dealership or can you get a home model to use?

another update. Was talking with my buddy, he said that the blasters have a little button that sits in the throttle cover on the hand bars. He told me if the throttle for some reason is pushing up against it, it will run when you are giving it throttle but when you release the throttle will kill. This was the reason why it was dieing before when it was running. However everything is back on, and she doesn't want to go. I think ill go and buy a compression check thing. Does anyone know the stock compression i should have?

Should be 140-160 PSI on the stock 200cc engine for a Blaster. Any less and you've got issues. Hopefully that's not the problem.

You need to disconnect your TORS.

1.Unclip the wires to the "tors brain" which is a little black box under your front left fender attached to the frame.
2.Open your throttle cover and take that switch out, follow the wire and unclip it at the disconnect.
3.There is 1 wire (not cable) comming off your carb, follow that wire and upclip it too.

May want to disconnect your parking brake too.

1.Disconnect the parking brake cable from the lever.
2.Disconnect the wire going to the parking brake and follow it and unclip it.
3.You can cut the cable on the e-brake (not the regular brake) at the rear caliper (or just buy a blockoff plate for 12 bucks or so.

I ran a compression test today at the high school. It was 120 psi. So i have spark and my compression is fine. 140-160 is really high ! my buddy said that is way to high and that 120 is about right. So this must be a fuel problem. I'm going to start simple and just try changing the gas.. Any other ideas?

Happy update = ]... Put some new gas in, sure enough she fired right up and was ready to go.. Only problem, when i started it the only thing it wanted to do is go full bore and i wasnt even touching the throttle. Any ideas why it is running at full throttle?
