I know this topic was visited in 2006, but I'm looking for feedback on an entire skid plate, a-arm guard combo. I saw some on E-Bay, also was looking at the ricochet entire package. It has been a few months since people had a chance to test. Let me know what you think. I need to get a set. Protection is more important then absolute value, however, I don't want to spend a fortune either.

Also, how about suspension, anyone update the front suspension to Ohlins or Elka's ?

 

If you check out the new HBomb Film Huevos 9 my buddy is featured riding a grizz with Elka shocks, skid plate, aftermarket tires/wheels, handlebar risers, etc... He takes it on his mx track clearing 100' jumps. I know he likes the Elka's. If you want some specific info on parts let me know, I can give him a call or give you his website.
