you would really have to hit the gas hard and really pull back.

with stock tires it is very easy to flip it over backwards and i am running 26" 589 tires on rear and 26" itp mud lites on the front and just with hitting the gas i can still bring it almost straight up in the air on paved roads

6000 ft altitude, 27" tires, and a winch on the front = no wheelie on flat pavement with only the throttle in high range. It will wheelie if you shift your weight at the same time, but then a dump truck will wheelie if you shift enough weight. The front end of the Grizzly is plenty light though, and in fact, it is a bit too light for the steepest of hillclimbs.
