Well it could be a lot of things, It could be the timing chain rubbing on the case, a bearing going out, a gear in the transmission. Tough to say without tearing it down.

cool , thanks man i guess i am going to try to tear into it then . is it pretty hard to pull the motor ?

on the 225 Im not sure, it is very easy on the 80cc though, I can look at my 250 tonight and check it out
