well about a year ago i chipped a tooth off of 2nd gear on my 2000 yamaha beartracker 250. so my friend tore it down and swore he knew how to put it back together well a year later....she still sets in my basement tore down. im no mechanic, or i would have done it myself. so not that summers comin back up i want it back together so i can get back on the dirt. last summer was no fun because she was gone.....but iv got a new 2nd gear, air filter and oil filter but he doesnt know how to put it back so im just gona try to buy a new motor because i dont have the funds to buy a new one, and i just like the feel of it. i saw a 95 timberwolf motor with a bad topend (i could swap tops) on ebay for 430 shipped but i wouldnt wana put an older motor on mine. does anyone have any junk yards for atvs close to their house or know where i could find a motor at? i saw about 2 years ago that a guy put a big bear 350 on his beartracker that he had bought blown up. so i guess that a big bear motor would be nice. but im lookn for a beartracker bottom end at least. so if you have any thing you can do to help me id love it. thanks -bf
