Default Gear problems (tranny)

Is anyone else experiencing gear problems like Neutral not always coming in and reverse getting stuck in reverse.
also... how can i prevent the engine from over revving, so to not mess something up??

Default Gear problems (tranny)

As for the gear probs, sounds like shift forks or drum.

To fix the over rev put a throttle set screw in.

how do i do that?, im kinda new to quads and dont know much

I don't know about the reverse problem. The neutral not coming in is probably your mistake ( no offense, very simple mistake ) you're probably hitting it too hard. As for the over-revving, Raptors come with throttle screws I think??


Check your owners manual. It is a little screw somewhere on your handlebars that adjusts the maximum amount of power given to the bike. DO NOT loosen it too much.
