first atv..07 Wolverine 450...help with mods
#11
The BMP cdi unit when available will probably(since its not out yet I dont know for sure) just raise the rpm that it will let the engine run and give the top speed another couple of mph.
I dont know if it will get rid of the reverse rev limiter ( I hope that it does).
But there is no real gains to be had by just the cdi, it will work much better with the pipe, filter, jet kit and possibly the EPI clutch kit.
I think that the cdi will be about 150.00

True, but when I was talking to my local dealer, they said you will not notice much with it by itself, it is much better to use it after you have your other mods done, because you dont even hit the rev limiter stock(even at full throttle)

no problem. just make sure you help out someone new when they need it, lol. and who cares what its like outside mud and snow is the best weather for fourwheeling. just make sure you wash it enough and keep it clean. wash it after every mud ride when you can if its above freezing.

Also to add one thing..ive noticed other people having the same problem as myself...re-route the carb vent line to the air box...helps so much...poor wolvies sometime spit and spudder when water splashes up where the fac tory puts them..

Funny thing is, I did this since I couldn't figure out where the carb vent hose was SUPPOSED to go after taking some stuff apart. lol
