Warrior tires
I have a 99' warriror and it's time to upgrade my stock tires. I live in NJ so I mostly ride in woods. The trails consist of being mud, sand, and hard packed. I usually ride on pavement to get into the woods 1st. I was looking to getting the holeshots but am not sure. Also what sizes should I get for this type of terrain.

I have 22x11-9" Holeshot XCT's on the rear of my Warrior. LOVE THEM. Much better than any of the 20" tires I've had. They have held up well also. Like you, there is some road riding involved to get to certain riding spots, and the pavement hasn't been too bad on these tires.
I have 22x7-10" Holeshot XC's on the front. Same story as above.
Did I mention that I have ZERO punctures on these tires. I ride in similar conditions to you, very rocky, muddy, deep ruts, etc... You wouldn't think that the ground clearance difference between the 22" and 20" tires is that significant, it's only one inch, but there is definitely a noticeable difference.
I think you will be happy with these tires. When my fronts wear out, I will be buying 23"ers for it.
Good luck in your decision.

I agree 100% with 54warrior. I love my 22" xct's on the rear, and can't wait to get some 22"or23" Holeshots for the front. I ride Western Pa and have the same type of terrain. I had it out last week after alot of rain, the trails were really muddy and slick and I kept up with the 4x4's. We also road ride to the trails and at higher speeds it handles well and they wear well.
And as he states, ground clearance is definately an issue with a Warrior in the rear, the 22's work well.

The HD's are great. My honey has them on his 660. I believe they are limited in sizes though. The only issue we had with them was the stiff sidewall. We run under 5 lbs pressure and had one heck of a time getting the bead to stay put whenever it had to slide sideways. Finally bought a set of bead lock wheels. Seems to be holding now. Nice not to have to carry a compressor along just to get the Rappy out of the woods! LOL
