Hey everybody. i have a brand new 05 banshee that is bone stock. When my bike is in the low end it seems to bog down, but when it hits the power band it screams like it should. Also the plugs are black and wet. can anyone tell me how to fix this or wat is wrong?

 

if its all stock, clean the carbs, change the plugs, new gas with a proper mix, and if it doesnt run like new its rebuild time.

 

...that is if its been ridden for 2 years, but i just reread your post and you said "brand new" if its still under warranty bring it back to the dealership and let them mess with it.

 

Sounds like you could be running rich. If it's stock and new, take it back for a possible rejet.

kinda sounds typical of a banshee powerband. you do know that a banshee is not known to have low end power, right? a banshee is not happy unless its ripping.

the black and wet plugs are another issue - make them rejet it.

 

Should I go with bigger or smaller jets?
