I have a 1999 Yamaha Blaster with the old OEM headlight.
Is there anything I can do to change it?
I would like to have either a HID/xenon bulb or convert the whole thing to the full HID.
If you know of anything to change the appearance, that' be cool too.
Thanks in advance!

You could replace the stock light with something else. You could do a single driving/fog light for a car, but I think that 2 would be pulling too much power for your stock stator. What I would do is get a set of Trailtech or Lazerstar MR16 lights, they make a set that uses lower wattage bulbs so you can run 2 of them, one puts out a flood and the other a spot beam so your lighting pattern has better coverage, and they'll surely look better than that stock headlight as well. HID isn't going to work for you, because your blaster's electrical system is completely AC, HID's run off DC power only.

You guys are very helpful.
Thanks so much for your input.
We could use your expertise at www.blasterforum.com, too.
Check it out if you want; it's new.
