Default Kodiak Help needed

Crazy problem with this quad. Its an 03 Kodiak 400. When you connect the battery the starter continually is trying to start the engine even with the key and run switch in the OFF position?!! The only way to stop it is too disconnect the battery. Any ideas whats up?

Yep..Everything is original as it left the showroom floor. I should also add that the battery died awhile back and my buddy put the charger on it and possibly shorted something in the electrical system. Im guessing the starter solenoid is probably bad.

Starter solenoid is stuck in. With the battery disconnected put a meter on ohm and put leads to both large post. If it reads 0.00 ohms then the solenoid is stuck in.
