Does anyone know the top speed on a Blaster?My best friend is getting one and and I am going to race him on my 250x(both stock).It will be on grass on a 200ft drag.

 

Yea, I have a Blaster. My best guess is around 50-55 mph.

 

55 is the most common answer. With a few mods mid-high 60's are probably not out of the question.

 

I used to have a Blaster with a FMF fatty pipe and silencer, 14th front sproket, and 20'' shredders on the rear. I put a digital bicycle speedometer on it and the top speed was 59mph.

 

i'm not sayin this to be mean or anything but a blaster is gonna smoke you. unless u have a ton of mods.

 

My Blaster with my mods goes 62mph on street

 

Mine does about 55-60 mph.THe other night I raced a car down the side off the highway and did better thna I thought.I beat them for a while.It wasn't really a race just a car going down the highway and I went down a road running next to the highway for about 1/8 mile.My mods are .025 pro-x piston,UNi filter with no airbox lid,low-mid porting,boyesen reeds, and reed spacer.

It does alright in 5th a tops out easily but in 6th it ain't got much.

And I ahve a 97 300ex that my freind was riding this weekend and on a down slope changing o going up a hill i won everytime even if gave him a heftly head start.My nieghbor has a stock 99 blaster that I can beat on my 300ex though.
