The size of the Griz 450 is what I liked about it. The King Quad is tempting with the Fuel Injection, but it just seemed huge to me. As it is, my Eiger feels big. I was interested in the new Rancher as well. However, I've made a decision to stay away from any 1st year machines. As far as moving up to a big bore, my budget just doesn't permit it

Ok First off.. .the Grizzly 450 is NOT and I repeat NOT a first year machine.... It is simply a re badged Kodiak, new sticker, new tires only thing different 2007 over 2006.... oh wait.. you are talking about the Rancher! Doh!

Anyhow....

Vibration... My Grizz 450 was my first quad, I have owned 3-wheelers in the past and still own a dirtbike (it is FOR SALE)... My Grizz does have a slight vibration at take off down by the floorboards.. I took it back to the dealer and has been told this is normal, I posted about this back in December... and from what others have said in the past and even in this post.. it is Normal... It is an issue with the 421cc engine (Grizz/Wolfy)

I think you will be more than happy with buying a 2007 Grizzly 450! I did and I don't regret it one bit! And Yes.. the Features and capabilities of the Grizz over the Vinson will make you Drool... can't beat have TRUE 4-Wheel Drive! Zuk's can't say that for the Vinson...

Like you I liked the grizzly for the size.. it is the only 450 Class quad out there that will actually FIT in the back of my 6.5 Foot pickup bed. (It is 78.5 inches long, 6 feet 0.5 inch)

Good Luck and let us know what you buy!

Thanks CrazySteve,

1st Year Machines: Yep, I was talking about the Rancher and the KQ 450 as well.

Thanks for the feedback on the vibration. The only reason I was considering the Vinson (manual only) was for price. I can probably get it for $600-$700 less than the Grizz. So I guess it depends on how much I can find a dealer around to bend on the Grizz.

I'll post back with what I buy.
