Default Banshee Mod Quiestions

I have an 02 Banshee' and had a few questions about MODS

I keep reading about removing TORS System. What Advantage does this give you in the way of performence?

Also i know that many people think a boost bottle is a fancy piece of jewelry....any one have thoughts or good results with these added?

Finally how ofter do you need to replace the PETALS in the V-Force 3 Reed system?

Regards,

Ryan

TORS stand for Throttle Override System. Its a electronic device that yamaha started adding to cut off fuel flow to the carb if they are stuck open. Good idea however it doesnt work, it has been known to accually cause the carbs to stick open as well as cause starting and reving problems.

Boost bottles are a waste of money, they do not do anything no matter what anyone tells you.

I would just replace the reeds when the break. Order some extras up and keep them on hand incase you need them.

What mods do you have done?

Yup, what JL said. Boost bottles are a waste, I change my reeds once a year, and ditch the tors. Stock carbs suck bad enough, and even more with that crap on there.
