#1
I want to get a set of +2 American Star Pro Star A-Arm Kits (the first kit shown on the website) for my Raptor 350, here is the link...
http://www.quadpartsguy.com/A-Arms.html
now my question is this, will I need to replace my stock shocks and brake lines, because I was told I didnt need to change this.
I just want to be sure. Also in the picture on the website (i do know it clearly says "Raptor 660 Pictured" but I didnt notice any grease fittings!! my stock A-Arms have grease fittings, why dont these?
are they a good buy or no????
please help.

I have a set on mine and dont have any complaints. I think they were a good deal for the money. You will be better off getting new shocks. You definately need new brake lines. Your old brake lines will have to stretch to reach.

ok so new shocks and brake lines are a must, but whats a good brand to buy??
i want something good, but also affordable(I know those two words dont usually go together) but im not too familiar with ATV shocks?
any brake line can work as long as it is +2??
oh also do i need to upgrade or change my front springs??

Works shocks are good shocks for the $$$$. If you buy shocks the springs come with them. All you gotta do is bolt them up and go. Streamline brake lines are good also. Other people may have different opinions, but thats what I run with no problems. If you wanted to save some money, you may get away with running your stock shocks and tightening them up some, but I havent had any experience doing this and dont know how well it will work. What happens is the +2" arm puts has more leverage and pushes harder on the shock, so the shock will feel a lot softer than with regular arms, making the shocks bottom out faster.

I've heard of people having problems where their botls were falling while riding. But that's the applicators fault for not securing the hardware. Use locknuts & loctite on bolts hardware. I think the grease fitting you're talking about are the joints. ASR use heim joints & they don't come or need to be greased. If buying +2 A Arms you'll need the +2 brakelines to reach the calipers. There's two style shocks & A Arms you can get. Long Travel A Arms need Long Travel shocks. This means your shock mount on the A Arms are out further & need a longer shock. Standard travel are regular shocks & regular travel A Arms. I bout YFZ shocks & modified them onto my +2+1 Quicksand A Arms. The stock brakelines just barely reached & didn't have problems with them. I did replace though. Check out my suspension in my pictures.

Yeah, but you can't get long travel for a Raptor 350. Definately use blue Loctite on EVERY bolt you put in, or it might come out, especially on a Raptor 350.
