After a cliff jumped out in front of me last summer, and my bike and I fell off, I've had a problem with my front treads wearing much faster than the back. All I can think of is that I must have screwed up my alignment somehow, so that the front tires aren't running straight. I can't find anything bent, but it does seem to need an alignment. I know about how to adjust my tie rods to change my alignment, but I'm not sure on how to tell when I have it adjusted where it needs to be.... I mean, how do I tell when I have the wheels adjusted so they run straight with the rear? A friend of mine with a Sportsman said to run string around all 4 wheels, and then adjust so there is no space between the string and the sides of the tires, but i can't do that on mine because the rear tires stick out further than the front. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks.

When I replaced a tie rod on my Raptor I measured the middle tread on the front of the tire and measured the middle tread on the back of the tire and adjusted the tie rod until they were even.

Hope this helps.
