Not that I believe everything i read, but I read that the DS and the Banshee have been radared at about the same top speed but the DS gets there a little quicker.

The Raptor and DS is supposed to be both about 75mph. Thats with 230lb. riders also. The Banshee is only about 70-71.

Probably the DS, because the Banshee would be spinning its tires like crazy. But if it was on cement, it would be much closer. Just my opinion.

I have seen the race. In stock form the DS does win consistantly. However, I have also seen a Banshee with $1000 worth of mods completely destroy a DS and Raptors. Even with those mods he still spent less on the Banshee than a DS costs. The other side to that is, that is only a drag race. There is a alot more to riding than that.

What do you have on your shee to make it 70hp? I'm just curious how far I am from your configuration (probably VERY far).

It doesn't take too much to get a Banshee there. Pipes and jet kit($500) porting($500), and new carbs will get you pretty close. Check out gtthunder, they have lots of dyno charts, one on a Banshee that pulls around 70.
