Question about a Carb for a Warrior
I just bought a 89 warrior to fix up as an extra 4 wheeler. The carb is shot because it was left out in the weather. I found some used ones on ebay but its hard to find one under $125. That seems outrageous for a stock/used carb. I've got a 35mm Keihin PWK Air Stryker Carb and a 38mm Keihin Pwk Air Stryker carb laying around my shop that I used on some of my 2 stroke machines. I was wondering if these would work ok. I've noticed the carb on the warrior is a completely different style. If these would work does anyone know where I could get a bigger intake boot to fit the bigger carb. Thanks for any help guys.

You can find the intake boots on ebay. There are a few listed right now that I just saw. As for wether or not the carb will work. All of them do the same thing so I would think that it would just be a matter of jetting.
How is the stock one shot? I would think a good cleaning some new jets and a gasket would make it almost good as new.

Question about a Carb for a Warrior
it is rusted and real bad everywhere that could possibly rust, everywhere else is corroded. I can't get the pilot jet out cause it just broke away when I tried to loosen it. Now its just flat instead of having a slot for the flathead screwdriver to go into. I noticed the factory carb has 2 throttle cable hookups on it. I know one is for the slide and needle and the other is for an acceleration pump. The 35mm and 38 mm carbs I was telling you about doesn't have the acceleration pump. Not sure what kind of difference that would make.
