2005 wolverine rear brake rotor
Hello all, I just purchase my first ever Yamaha quad, I've pretty much owned everything else at some time or another. But this time an older model Wolverine 350 seemed to fit the bill for a next quad for my son, just the right size, manual trany, and 4wd (now 2wd/4wd). Anyway I think the rear brake rotor has warped (due to parking brake being to tight, and getting too hot). Can someone tell me how to remove the rear rotor? It appears I have to remove the wheel hub then it all slides off the end of the axle is that correct?
Also this past weekend he managed to get some water in the head through the exhust. The airbox was fine, it didn't go through the carb, but I had to stand it on end to drain allot of water out of the exhost and head, I then had to remove the spark plug and pull the rope several times to flush the remaining water out of the head. I was not very happy to say the least, he's lucky I've done this a few times myself. Oil level didn't go up any, and the oil looks good as new not a trace of milkyness there so no water got to the crank case. I'm still going to drain and flush it. Only thing I can figer is the exhost valve was open when it died and it ran in. Any other advide on this would be appreciated also.
