I am wondering why no one is going with the carbon fiber yamaha exaust.I think this exaust is sweet looking and im sure it performs equil to most other exaust systems out there.I would love to hear one to see how loud they are before bying one.Maybe they are still hard to come by?

I have one and I choose it over the Big Gun, FMF, and the White Bro. E-Series. It is certainly lighter than these.

The Big Gun is closer to the GYTR silencer than the other two. Both are pass thru types as is the Sparks, when it comes out. The difference, other than 3lbs of weight(5 lbs stock), is the GYTR brings it on earlier than the Big Gun, which brings it on at the end as do most pass thru types.

Plus it is really trick looking. But it is loud, easily as loud as the Big Gun.

I did not buy the Carbon Fiber, but the Aluminum. The Carbon weighs even less than the aluminum. They both have a full billet end cap, no steel. The aluminum retails for $212 while the Carbon retails around $279 for the same performance.

I am in the process of rejetting for this set-up (Big Gun Head Pipe and GYTR Silencer). I started out with Big Gun's recomendation for their system for 150-155 mains. As of now I am at 160-165 with the GYTR and am still lean.

Blue Raptor
Renthal Bars
DuraBlue Axle+5
TBDesigns A-Arms+3 (still waiting)
TCS Shocks
Fastline Brake Lines
13/41 gearing
DG Bumper
Big Gun Head Pipe
GYTR Silencer
Sparks Ig. Key (still waiting)
ProDesign Switch

I have ordered the pilot jets at 27.5.They have not come in yet. I don't know if you need to go up in size with the main or not. The pilot jet works the gas just off idle to 1/4 throttle.

How do you like the Carbon Fiber. Is is loud? It has to weigh nothing. Mine is light but that would be really light.

i haven't actually weighed the pipe myself but it can't weigh any more then a feather!!!. the silincer is very sweet and you can take out the spark arrestor and is repackable.do you know jets you might end up with to be right,i have 150 to 180's coming for mine.i still have to put my sparks key in yet and filter system, only other mod i will do is cam up grade when available. i put one in my warrior and made quite a bit of a difference beleive it or not even without going with a different piston. wish all us raptor owners could get together.

i have the gyt-r exhaust on my raptor. i first tried the fmf wich was crap and the power increase wasnt all that great so i bought the aluminumn gyt-r and it has more power and looks way better. i like the aluminumn one best cause it shines like chrome.

i had the power core IV-2. The GYT-R is quieter and built way better. my FMF come apart the same day i put it on. the weld broke around the inlet pipe. it does have a removable spark arrestor. it doesnt come with any jetting info but i am running 145 and 150 jets so i went up 2 sizes.
