guys in my cd manual,it has a wiring diagram,both my reverse switch and reverse indicator light run to the cdi box.what will i have to do to remove the reverse limiter?

 

If your dash pod is the same as the kodiak's, then you should be able to read the thread I posted here (5th comment) and follow along with what I did. Is you wiring is different? I didn't need the diagram to do the mod, but I will scan my diagram and post it to see if they are the same....maybe this weekend.

Seems to me, you are missing the diff-lock button and prolly the wiring for it. That button is part of the method to getting rid of the reverse problem. Not sure how to get around that yet....???

yeah i dont have a locker buttom or a override buttom but i read you can ground it without a switch so its never there

 

guys if i remove the reverse switch signal to the cdi box wouldnt that work?I mean the cdi box wont know that the machine is in reverse.

 

You could just cut the wire going to the cdi and test it out. If id doesnt work then just re solder it together and heat shrink it.

 

i just pull out the pin from the plug i know how to remove them.i'll try it this weekend
