Buy a hydro kit. There is nothing much that you can do with the stock breaks.

take it to a yamaha shop, they'll make it work for a while, but it will end up not working good again. Buy a trenga brake at trenga.com. it is pretty good but costly.

This in on my 14yr old brothers bike, so a cheap alternative would be greatest.

I would say that Trenga makes he best set. I have a custom made set from old banshee parts. I have front and back hydros and it makes the blaster feel like a quad not a piece of junk.

MINE GOES BAD EVERY ONCE AND A WHILE. I JUST TEAR APART THE REAR CALIPER, CLEAN IT OUT, LUBE IT UP REAL GOOD( EXPECIALLY THE CYLINDER WHERE THE PAD SLIDES IN AND OUT). ALSO MAKE SURE THE PADS AND CABLE IS GOOD. SQUIRT SUM LUBE IN THE CABLE TO MAKE SURE IT IT SLIDES FREELY. CAUSE THE BRAKES ARE SELF ADJUSTING AND IF THE CABLE DOESN'T LET OUT ENOUGH IT WON'T ADJUST RIGHT. HOPE THIS HELPS
