I bought a durablue eliminator from Hy-Tech on my Raptor. It has to be a 2+2 Banshee axle, because it is more like a 4+6 on my Raptor.

I also bought a durablue eliminator axle from the nice folks at Hy-Tech for my Raptor. I just finished the install, took about 4-5 hours. Looks great and now the rear tires are out beyond the fronts like it should be.

The only trick I found was to go ahead and remove both spring clips from the axle, slide it in and then work back from right to left. Install the brake disc and the lock nut and spring clip and then tap the axle to seat the flanges into the carrier. This will then give you enough space to slide the left spring clip on. Thanks azlandscaper for the tip.

I'll post back later on how it works, got to finish the Big Gun pipe install and rejet the carbs. It was a great Raptor Xmas

What size axle did u buy Dream duner and also what is meant by 2+2? or 4+6? I know its the size of the axle but why 2 numbers? Also is the 2+2 banshee axle make the back end stick out past the front end of my raptor??

RaPtOrRiDr01,

Durablue sells what they call a 2+2 Eliminator axle for the Raptor, this same axle will fit Banshee's also. The numbers refer to the different spacers you can fit behind the wheel hub to adjust the width of the axle. You get two each of two sizes of spacers, using both on the Raptor gets you +5" over the stock axle.

i got axel no. 20-1142sp,banshee axel, the box says banshee, raptor, blaster, the note inside said i might have to shave axel nut 1/8 inch to use the new nut, after inspection i realized that it would be easier to go ahead and have this done, cost $10 and will make removal and install easier the total time took about 45 minutes and this thing is wide ,i will be putting on my plus 2 arms and tcs shocks tommorrow and let yall know overall width. if you are riding mx make the front even or just a hair wider than the rear in my own experience my 310r pushed in corners after the axel install, but before th a arms , i havent ridden my raptor but i suspect this will hold true also,if you trail ride i bet it will slide like crazy

my lonestar axcalibur axle should be in tuesday, In my opinion they look much better than the dura blue's, they are chrome! I will be posting pics.

It seems like the raptors front end is already a bit wider than the rear on mine. maybe the axle can even it up. anyone need a factory straight raptor axle cheap?
