Default new o7 grizz pod mod???

nope... you did them like this?

1. Hold "Select" & "Reset" and while holding them down turn the key on. The "d IAG" screen will pop up in 5-10 seconds.
2. Press Select to get it to the "Co" screen.
3. Hold "Select" & "Reset" again to get the "C1" screen to pop up.
4. Press "Select" & "Reset" again.
5. Press "Select" to raise the number and press "Reset" to lower the number.
6. Turn the key off to set the setting and start riding.

From what you write you are not doing it right. It is listed corrrect and will work. Trick is to do each step where it says push select and reset at the same time then says it again. let off the select and reset buttons and then press select and reset again. I had the same problem the first few times. I think we all do. Good luck. I love the Grizz 700FI.

Here are step by step instructions to program your stock Grizzly 700.

1. With the key in the off position, Hold "Select" & "Reset" and while holding them down turn the key on. The "d IAG" screen will pop up in 5-10 seconds.
2. Press the Select button to get it to the "Co" screen.
3. Hold "Select" & "Reset" again to get the "C1" screen to pop up.
4. Press "Select" & "Reset" again.
5. Press "Select" to raise the number and press "Reset" to lower the number.
6. Turn the key off to reset to the new settings.
7. Restart Quad
This is the way you program the FI setting. Factory is "0" My Grizz runs great at "0" but I did move it to +10 just to try it out. Note you can also go to a Negative setting if you want.
To Read PRMs Do steps 1,2 and 3. Stop at that point and turn your kill switch to run and start the motor. Your display will read RPMs. Take the number X10 and you have it. Reading 160 will be 1600 RPM. 155 will be 1550 RPM and so on. To reset your display just turn off the key and your back to normal. NOTE: DO read step 1. Key off hold the Select and reset down and give it some time. Display will change and then step 2 hold select and reset again Also do step 3. Start the Motor. Warm it up first. Then do steps to set RPM. Display does not read above 1900 RPM. With the motor up to temp I set my reading at 1600 or 160 on the display. This let it move around in the 1550 to 1650 area. Runs great. PUSH IN HARD ON THE SELECT KEY AND IT SHOULD GO TO CO HOLD IIT FOR A FEW SECONDS. Good Luck. Also have someone else try it that has never read the instructions. I will tell you it can be hard the first time or so. Here is the RPM info also.

droil5, Your dealer may not even admit to this info or may not know what you know. Do you like the GYTR skids? I waht some. What cost and ehere did you get them?WHAT IS THE rrbox? IF you changed ignition boxes then you took away the grizz pod. Fact is no change is needed. Yamaha put there racing FI system on the grizz and just don't tell us that. I will look up the info on this and try to send it to you. Also don't change the air filter unless you understand the sensors and how to get them to work. I ahve set my FI at 25 now and it will pull the front up with no problem. BUt it did that at 0 setting also. At 50 setting it scared me. This is the best factory system I have had.

I have also drilled out the screen thats under the air filter. I also added 6 uni vents. Now when I pin the throttle there is no lag or bog what so ever. I have been pulling the plug to check it. It looks perfect but I'll keep checking it due to the increase in air. This quad is what all quads should be like. It handles tight trails better than my 450R or Z400 due to the power steering.
I just need to find a pot of gold to add so accessories like a brush guard and piaa lights. Then it's skid plate time next. Will be adding a lot of miles this weekend!

I got a 1" hole cutter from lowes which attaches to your drill and cuts out the holes in the top of the air box then i pushed in these vents.

The screen below it is what restricts most of the air and needs to be opened up by drilling out a couple dozen 1/4" holes.
