stock vs stock the 450's will beat the rappy off the line and then the rappy will reel them in , in the end. Thats what the 450's do, get up to speed as fast as possible. The 700 has a higher top speed

 

well at a second look he said a 450r honda are VERY slow dont know why but from my experiance watching drag races useually NOTHING is stock. honda trx450r is last then suzuki ltr4540 only seen 1 kawi 450 he was decent, faster then a 450r that was there, but the yfz450 that seem to be all over are faster

hell i seen a cannondale moto beat a honda 450 but then again wtf is stock rarely see something sombody is running bare bone stock

If your talking about stock machines. All the 450s & the 700 Raptor are fairly the same (75mph give or take). When you start talking about modification then your asking how deep does one dig into their pockets to make their bike the fastest!!!!! Myself... cruising around with my 660 Raptor...explosive power, saddle up on the KTM 525sx... & for Rocketship acceleration, then best bang for the buck has to be a Superbike... Bike of choice Raven Black 05 R1...... The choice is yours.....

 

if you put an after market cam shaft into a yfz 450 it should gie a lot more ooomff

 

Not to burst your bubble but my 07 yfz-450 bone stock took a 07 700 raptor by two quads. Now I have power plus, and power plus now, scary fast acc. pump, jet kit, k&n,looney tuned pipe,air lid off. I raced a ds-650 with a gsxr 750 at attica and won 3 out of four times. The only thing that even comes close to me is my bro's mega mod banshee. I only wish I had a 6th gear. Not trying to hate on any make just stating facts. 7lbs. equals 1 hp. And I weigh about 165 without gear.Oh yeah and I went to a 15 tooth sproket. And the cam mod.Man the mods ad up quick. Can't stress enough on jetting it will make or brake your ride.P.S. someone is allways faster.

 

My bone stock 07 yfz-450 beat a 07 raptor 700 with a gytr pipe and cdi box, by 3/4 of a bike two equal riders same weight.And I love them both.

 

yfz4504me i would have to say yes that is right and all the people that say the 700 will be a yfz450 are full of that brown stuff my yfz is jetted with a slip on pipe and all the 700 i race seem to only see my red brake light. infacted i raced a guy last sunday at the beach that was running his mouth about the yfz and the 700 run neck and neck and he could keep up so i raced hime and let him win and he started talking smack i told him put his money where his mouth is and well lets just say he wouldnt do it. so i was nice and we raced again and and the dude saw the second time was the red glow from my brake light

 

man how are you going to say a yfz is way faster when the drag title was taken by a 700 raptor built by rocket inds. this year. it was bored out to 804cc and this year they are talking about a 835cc kit. also sence the raptor is still pretty new they are still coming out with more mods for it, the yfz being out for like years now is not going to get much better anymore.

yea if your talking with with a big bore. BUT where talking stock not dumping a ton of money into it
