Default 02 Grizzly 660 oil leak

I have an oil leak on the left side that appears to be leaking from the bottom of the recoil starter. I cannot find drips, but after a good days ride, the running board has an oil spot on it. What could be leaking it this area and how do I fix it?

I am not familiar with your atv but from my days of working on cars I remember that oil leaks could travel pretty far and appear they were coming from one place and actually be from another. I think you need to try to follow the leak and it could be coming from a hose, or a part of the engine sealed by a gasket. If its a gasket buy a new one and also use a good gasket sealant and it should never leak again.
