If you're in neutral, pull in the clutch and shift DOWN once to go to 1st gear. Then when you take off and get your RPMs up, let off the gas, pull in the clutch, and pull UP on the gear shifter. Repeat this process for all the other gears until you get to 6th gear. When you slow down, let off the gas, pull in the clutch, and shift down. You can shift down as many gears as you want at one time. To get back to neutral, shift down to 1st gear and pull up on the shifter just halfway and that will put you there. Its a little tricky at first. Good luck! Oh, and dont forget - dont hold the throttle WIDE OPEN for long periods of time or you might blow the engine and that always sucks!

well if your new.
its a blaster so you can start in any gear (it has a start in any gear feature) prefferably neautral thruogh 1-3
then pull in clutch (if in gear)
start
let it warm up
hold in clutch
rev engine sltghlty
let out clutch
it may take a while to get used to but dont be afraid to dump the clutch at high rpm in the grass the front wont come up on you. dont let go of the gas when trying to take off it will stall. it took me like 2 days to get my friends.
