ok i have a 04 yfz with a hot cams stage 1 , hmf pipe , jetted , and air filter. i raced a completly stock 04 yfz that had the baffle out of the pipe and lost. What is the matter? we even switch bikes and mine still lost. need help

 

Your jetting or valves are WAY outta whack. Or hes lying about his mods.

Edit: you might be spinning the tires. What tires? What terrian? Gearing change might help as well.

 

i just had the valves checked when i put the cam in. i know he's not lying b/c he's my cuzin and i was with him when he bought it new. we raced on pavement. i know gearing will help but i think i should already be out running him without gearing.

 

o ya and the jets might be the problem b/c when i bought it the guy already had the pipe on it.

 

I think i may have found the problem. The guy i bought the 4-wheeler off of said he bought and hardly ever rode it. Now the 4-wheeler i raced was way past broke in and im kinda startin to think mines not fully broke in yet. would that cause the problem?
