Eliminating key switch on Banshee??

How do you eliminate the key switch on the handlebars of a Banshee??

What i did was follow the wires to the plug & unplug it. Then cut the plug off & attach the two wires together (I sodered the wires & put heat shrink tubing on it)

redyam350 is right. The best way is to cut the side on the switch. And short those two wires together. And plug it back in. This way all you would have to do is buy a new switch if you ever wanted it switch it back.

wire the black wire and the black and white wire together. don't worry about the brown or red wires (yamaha uses the same key switch or atvs with batterys which require the brown wire and red one)
