Default Easier way to clean rad?

I have a Kodiak 450 '05. Even though I go though moderate mud and water I have never taken this machine in deaper then the racks. Belt housing is alway dry. I am trying to clean my bike up (Grass & caked mud) and I've noticed that my rad has mud blocking it. I tryed to run a pressure water hose from the inside out but there is a casing in the way. I would rather not have to dismantle the whole front grill ti get to the rad. Any easier solutions out there? A blocked rad can't be good for cooling.

A blocked Rad is Horrible for cooling.... Unfortunately there isn't an easy way to get a hose in from the back for the radiator to push the much out the front of the Radiator.. I am going to try something (don't know what yet) tonight when I get home.. I will let you know how I make out...

Just spray it out w/ the pressure washer... (just don't get too close, and only spray it straight on and not at an angle) It'll wash off, even if you spray it from the front...

I plan on just using a regular hose... I don't have a pressure washer, I guess I will use a Flashlight too...

NEVER spray any rad with a pressure washer, you will damage the fins. What you have to do is use a compressor with a blow gun on low pressure and blow from the back to the front because when you ride the dirt gets stuck from the front not the back, if you were to spray it from the front you are just forcing the dirt deeper between the fins.

I just finished cleaning mine... I just sprayed it from the Front. I got it pretty clean... I made sure clean water ran out the back

Thanks for the info. Tryed washing it out with a garden hose and it worked fine. Low pressure from the front.
