Default Engine cleaning

I'm looking for the best way to clean/protect, and the product(s) I can use on the engines of my quads, and bikes, I have this brown tint that wont come off unless I use a toothbrush to scrub it off, I have used wd-40 indirectly while it was cool but it don't work well, is there something I can coat the engine with for easier clean ups?

By brown you mean dirt? or something you cleaned it with? I would try using steel wool and see if it comes off.

Yeah its dirt but its stuck on, I can see using the steel wool, but every time I clean it? What about a degreaser type cleaner or something, some thing I can spray on and rinse off? I'm not just being lazy I have well water and issues with my pressure, so cleaning up is a real chore, there are usually 5 quads to clean and a bike or two. Just trying to make it a little easier.

If u look i forgot i had pics of the EX on my profile i sprayed it on my motor and nerfs and they were as dirty as my tires. U should be able to pick like 5 oz. up at a hardware store or at least u can down here in redneck village.
