Vibration
#2
I haven't seen your quad but I would check the engine mounts, they could be cracked and/or damaged. How does it ride? can it get up to speed quickly? if not you might be looking at cleaning the clutch out and re-greasing and getting a new belt. After owning a Kodiak I know these Yamaha belt systems are near bulletproof, and easy to maintain.

it is Normal for the Kodiak/Grizzly 450's and I am sure the Wolfy 450's as well.. the 421 isn't balanced that well.. dealer says it is normal... so I figure since I got the 2 year extended warranty... if something happens it will happen in 2 years

Thank you I just removed all the guards/ foot rest ect and looked at the belts, clutch ,clecked for run out. didn,t find any thing loose, motor mounts tight so I guess I will just run it and enjoy. I am used to a 225 3wheeler that has a shiter- no vibration at all, BUT Ok thanks again

The vibration on the 400s are worse than the 450s, but it's completely normal and ok. I was concerned the same way when I bought my wifes 400, but it's not been a prob. Just ride the **** out of it, it'll be alright...

Some of the vibration I found came from--of all things loose spark plug?????????not much but some- took it out and use hi-temp never-seaze. . Didn,t really stop the vibration, but it did stop have that vibrating sound--
