Do you guys things this would be ok? The manual recommends 80W which I cannot find anywhere. The cycle shop told me to use 85W-90. I figured I would save some money over the Yamaha oil and go with Mobil 1.....

 

I use Amsoil 75W-90 in my '06 660. I have been using it since the break in oil change and have never had an issue. I can imagine you would have the same results with the Mobil-1

 

I've been using it(mobil 1) in my 700. No problems and dont expect any cause thats all I run in any of my atv's.

 

CK are you using the motor oil or the gear oil?

 

I use both. You cant go wrong using Mobile 1 products. Check out their web site for common questions about Syntheic oil.
I use mobile 1 in my cars and trucks and I use MX4T which they have renamed as Racing motor oil in all my atv's. You can get this oil all most anywhere. Walmart, auto zone,
