Yamaha Blaster brake conversion
#1
I was wondering if I buy a 2004 rear Hydraulic brake setup if it just bolts on to an older model Blaster. I want to know before purchasing it and if it doesn't is there somekind of conversion kit to modify it for the newer stock hyrdaulic brakes???

You might need the bracket for the caliper as well as all the rest of the setup. You will also need to make a bracket for the master cylinder. You will need the rear brake lever so you can hook it up to the master cylinder too.

Don't listen to guys like Blaster2oo2, he's just grumpy because Mommy didn't feed him yet, updating the manual rear brake is a pretty straight forward project, you can even use some of the brackets and parts off a Warrior or Banshee to mount the rear brake caliper, the axle assemblies are pretty similar. To make a complete swap, you could even get parts like front spindles and calipers and a front brake lever set up from a Warrior or Banshee and get front disc brakes as well, and very cheaply if you find the parts in a salvage yard or ebay.
