Unplug speed senser for Raptor 700r
I unpluged the one that goes to the transmission. I checked the wire diagram to make sure the wire colors were correct. The one I unpluged matched the book. I have a 2006 model.
The colors on each half of the plug are:
Side A three wires) - Blue, White & Black-w/Blue stripe
Side B three wires) - Pink, White & Black-w/white stripe
Please let me know if this is not correct or if you have a different model year.

How have you been measuring your speed? Do you have a trailtech computer? If your bike was modified and the other guys was not then you might have a higher top speed and the speed sensor was limiting you were as his might be stock and thats all the bike will do.

Well i havent GPS'ed my quad since i unpluged my sensor and it did 77-78mph. But i know it got faster because i can fell it keep going longer in 5th gear. And before i unpluged the sensor me and my brother would race my predator 500 and Raptor 700 and i would beat the predator 3-4 quad lenths then i unpluged it and would pull 6-7 bikes on it. And my raptor is stock. Predator has yoshi slip-on.

Okay man if you dont believe me go to raptorforum.com and ask if unpluging the sensor will make a difference. And just about everybody will say "yes"..there are a FEW that say it didnt make a difference but there's more that say it did make a diff. And if i beat the same quad twice 1) Sensor pluged, Another sensor unpluged and beat it by more bike lenths with it unpluged i think that means that the sensor does give you more top speed. You can also see that your going faster in top speed.
