i`m just puting in a new piston, rings, and wrist pin berings but i am going to put a high compression gasket kit on it

I think I'll do the same. Did you get your piston and gasket set from Vitos. Are you going to do the install yourself or have a shop do it. Let me know how it all turns out and what difference you can tell.

This sounds right to me also, reed spacer will produce low end power. And eat your mid range.

i am not going to put the vito`s piston in it just the gasket kit i would kill the piston (coldstarts)i am going to use a boost ported nik`s pro-x i am going to put it in myself but a frind that has done it before is going to help

Where did you purchase all your parts, Did you get them local or through the mail.

the only thing i would have to say is tat you need to re-jet it sense you took of the air box lid
