07' Raptor 700 EFI issues
Ok, heres my deal, a few weeks back I had this problem with the throttle sensor, that was replaced, and so was the plug. About a week after that my engine light comes on, it stalls and now WTF right?, according to the srevice manual, it is throwing off codes I guess for the diagnostic computer to read, so I turn the key off and restart, it starts no issues, runs for 5min, stalls with the EFI light blinking again, ok problem is I'm about 10 miles out, so, I do the run and stall every 5 min thing to get It back home, then I get it home leave it sit for a day, start it, no issues, I ran it for about an hour, then boom it started all over again, before it did it again I simply thought I had to get water in something electric, guess not? Well I then spoke to my mech. and he said BRING IT IN, ok sure I JUST HAD IT IN, ITS Brand new last Apr. WTF. Ok I have the extended on it and all that, I try to keep most of my mods GYTR for coverage purposes, but i did't take it in, instead the light never came back on for a month or so, until this past Sunday, WTF? Of course I was out about 20 miles up pipelines and in deep woods doing some exploring, so it did this for half the ride home, you know the run-stall every 5 min deal, then it stopped again, now the light is on but it remains dim, constantly on, I understand that the light working in crazy ways means things in codes, but can I get a effin' summer out of this thing without something else going wrong? Well if all goes well it will be in the shop by tonight, of course further ruining my long summer nights, and weekends, has anyone had problems with this things efi? My brother in law has the same **** (07 raptor 700r)- no mods and the lights (efi in the dash light that is) been on for a month or so on his. What gives? I believe the Raptor 700 Has serious self diagnostic issues that need to be addressed/changed, does any one else know of these issues with this machine?

Well I'll just reply to my self.
Well Kev I spoke to my Mechaninc last night and he said YAMAHA has a recall out on some Engines made with a spcific brand name of sensor, so never the less, as long as you got it to the dealership, your in good hands, them boys will wrap it up in a jiffy.
I was wondering has anyone else "heard of this recall'?
It also seems very odd you and your brother in law are the only ones with these issues.
