The camshaft would only be spinning around 5500 rpm. I wouldn't recommend welding it. Cams are hardened and more than likely it would break on either side of the weld. I hate to tell anybody this but I think you're screwed on this one.
it would be spinning more that 5500 caus i have a +1000 cdi box ya i figured i was porked so i just orded a new one, this blows, but if one person reads this and now knows not to over torque bolts it was still, not event close to worth it, lol i hope my mistakes help some one

A camshaft in a four stroke engine spins at one half crakshaft speed. So was the camshaft over torqued to the cam sproket causing the break. How does it run with a 13:1 piston and are you finally beating your queen's 450?

The real question here is why are you planning on turning your engine 11K rpm's when you make peak power a couple of thousand rpm's lower. It's unnecessarily beating on your engine and slowing you down. More rpm's don't mean more power unless your engine is set up for the increased rpm's.

I dont know much about stage 2 camshaft, but I would assume he is moving the power band up in the RPM range, that is the reason for the 11K.
