go to foxracingshox.com and just wander around in the atv section, those float X EVOL's and regular fox floats are some nice shocks

look at the applications section, it says the fox floats are almost $700 for more models, and the float X EVOL's are almost 1500$ for the DSC version (i think)

I was just wondering if that is per pair for front shocks or per shock???

Seriously, imagine getting float X EVOL's on the front and Fox PODIUM X for the rear, some of the yfz450 applications run at almost 1000$ for the podiums

IMAGINE PAYING $4000 for just THREEE SHOCKS!! its NUTS

I know they are pretty revolutionary cuz they dont use springs and the fox FLOATS can save up to 6lbs off your machine, that pretty attractive right?

But is that price per pair or per shock? Per shock makes it seem like a fortune, but per pair makes it seem like a steal- 350$ per front shock if you get a regular fox float shock (as a replacement perhaps?)

I hope it is per pair, otherwise it'll be better to get another brand, even if they dont looks as nice (even though elkas do look pretty nice too)

I'm assuming they are for the pair of shocks. $700 for the fronts probably. I paid around $400 for front Elka's on mine(the basic model). If I were you I would just sell the DS and get something else. all the money into it isnt worth it. Trust me I found that out the hard way.

im not planning on buyiung 4000$$or even 2000$$ shocks for it, i was just wondering how expensive they were.

If i got a new quad it would be stock pred or yfz (ltrs are nice but too expensive) cuz those quads have really nice stock shocks.... the other choice would be a 250r or lt250r with elka's or peps or something nice

the only shock i MIGHT replace is the rear because it bottoms too easily and the preload is already maxed out, but most quads use linkage for the rear, so i doubt those shocks would fit, and quads without linkage usually have very short shocks... so im guessing that putting a front shock off another quad on the back would be best, but i want fox shocks, since they dont have springs that lose their stiffness- but i was wondering if they were sold in pairs or single, because i wouldnt want to buy a pair if i can only use one, and i dont want to spend very much
