Default 660 grizzly cutting out when wet?

What would cause a 2002 660 Grizzly to cut out when it gets wet? If you just ease into water or mud it does fine, but if you hit the water with any speed at all it cuts out very bad?

well im not 100% sure about a grizzly but on my raptor if i go in deep enough water so that it reaches my exhaust headers it will bog down low and eventually cut out. i believe this is because the water cools the engine back down to much and to fast so that its not at optimal operating temp. this is also a good way to crack your head pipes
