Default What rim thickness suggested?

So the thing is I just bought my yfz450 which had 18" tires on the rear with 8" rims. I have to have more ground clearance than that is giving me. I have a set of Douglas Red Label's with paddles on them. I thought about pulling them off and putting some 20" razr's on them but, my bro keeps telling me they are too weak of rims. (.120 i think)

I don't race, mostly climb and I do jump occasionally. More like hop, 3 feet most. What will happen if they are too weak? Bend? I mean will it hurt my wheeler? Will they work for me?

The .120 Douglas wheels are so flimsy you are going to be doing good to even get the tire on the wheel without bending the wheel. No way would I put trail tires on those wheels. Worst case scenario would be that they bend the first time out. I don't see how it would hurt anything else on the ATV.

It had 19" tires. Not sure about rim dimensions, all i do know is that they are very, narrow. I have a set of 21X7X10 Douglas Red Labels that will be going on when I find a rear set.
