This guy want to sell me his warrior but it has to be pop started everytime. He said he lost the key so he took apart the key switch and hardwired it. It has no kick start. Woulden't all I have to do is just buy a new key switch, or do you think something else could be wrong? Please let me know.

Well, the keyswitch just turns the power on for everything. Once the power is on the starter button should work. You could try to jump start it with a car. If that doesn't work there are a few things that could be wrong. The starter itself, the solenoid or maybe a safety switch.

Its a 2001. I don't want to bump start it everytime. Even if its wired to run without a key, souldn't I just be able to put in on run and push the start button? Also what is a cdi ignition? Does that have anyting to do with this problem?
